Food Boards

Recently, I have found I enjoy the art of assembling charcuterie boards. I love putting together unique and visually appealing boards for all occasions. I have made charcuterie boards for The Bachelor watch parties on with my friends, family holidays, and birthday parties. I think what attracted me to this  was the creativity involved in selecting the substrate on which the food is presented, the hodge podge of ingredients you can use, and the endless options in which you can arrange your board.  Check out the gallery below  to see some of the boards I am most proud of.

Photoshop

I am always planning an event in my head, whether it’s a birthday party or baby shower. A tradition for girls in Auburn, is to have a 21st Sign Night, with a big reveal of a “sign” that highlights all their interests and showcases their personality. I recently started selling and making 21st signs on Photoshop, as well as painting banners and balloon arches for the special night. It brings me joy to see how happy the birthday girl is when she receives her sign. I also make customized wine labels on photoshop. I found that it is a very simple and touching gift. I design the label on Photoshop, print it onto label paper, and adhere it to a friends favorite bottle of wine. My friends love the personal touch and keep the bottle on their bar cart! Floral Design

A new passion of mine that I have grown to love is floral design.   I chose to take  Intro to Floral Design as one of my professional electives in college. It  was one of the most enjoyable classes I took. Not only did I learn about the different designs but also about  floral retail/sales, specific cultures' history with flowers, and the scientific name and type of each flower used.  I continue to make arrangements for different occasions, and have even taught some of those skills to others. I've included some of my favorite designs below in the photo gallery.
